GOP MORALITY & PATRIOTISM

Sean Hannity had tough guy Ted Nugent on his radio show today (and defended Nugent's remarks on H&C last week) to give him a chance to weasel out of his hateful remarks about Democrats. Like VP Cheney, when it was Ted's turn to serve, he had "other priorities" as we learn from Richard Roeper:

That Nugent, he's a man's man. He talks the talk and walks the walk, right? Except when it was time to register for the draft during the Vietnam era. By his own admission, Nugent stopped all forms of personal hygiene for a month and showed up for his draft board physical in pants caked with his own urine and feces, winning a deferment. Creative!

And on the Morality Front, another GOP hypocrite gets busted. From Greg Sargent at TPM Election Central we learn that U.S. Senator Larry Craig (R-Idaho):
...was arrested in June at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men’s public restroom, according to an arrest report obtained by Roll Call Monday afternoon.

I went to a couple of major wingnut blogs and there was NO moral outrage about the good Senator. Capt. Ed was moaning about losing the seat and Hot Air is glad he's history because he supported the immigration reform bill.
