A SURPRISING ADMISSION

AJStrata got so upset about this Dan Froomkin article that he forgot the script and made a frank admission:
And oh yeah, al-Qaeda is not retreating from their failures in Iraq, Lebanon, Algeria and Afghanistan and regrouping in the tribal regions of Pakistan. No, AQ is actually growing in strength and power as the numbers increase there.

This means that Fredo is losing the WOT.

Great catch. Strata spins so much, so vertiginously, this one got by me.

LOL!

Maybe you should read slower. I said a retreating AQ is not the same as becoming stronger. But if you need to spin the facts to protect your ego - be my guest. This business of dealing with reality is not for everyone you know. ;)

Hey Ken, enjoying your body counts dude? your such the vulture

Strata, you actually preceded the pompous war criminal/liar Cheney by a year or more in saying all forms of the Iraqi insurgency was on its last legs--and today you ask for more "patience," as you spin along recklessly. LOL. Then again, circa 2006 you said there wasn't enough violence,or the right kind of violence, in Iraq to properly call the events in progress a "war," so you employ your own Strata-esque vocabulary
at will. LMAO.

We'll comment further on today's post shortly.

Today after telling the whopper that Bush and Co. knew pre-war that Al Qaeda was going to flock in strength to Iraq, you proceed to
justify using an independent nation as a battlefield to fight a pre-emptive war,on the conjecture,(based on lies and disinformation) that in the long-term that nation might have aided Al Qaeda.

That imperial attitude and based on intelligence the world no longer trusts, is a large part of why America is more hated and feared contemptuously worldwide now than on 9/11/2001.

Finally, you show your disdain for Iraqi life by asserting that violence in Iraq, the most dangerous place on earth thanks to Bush's immoral and botched invasion, is "dwindle(ing)
"down to levels that are even common in times of peace for the American military.

Strata, the ugly American, oblivious to Iraqi life and pretending that scores of potentially lethal attacks per day aren't still extant over most of Iraq.

From Chile comes more government official evidence of the anti-Americanism engendered by Bush's pre-war pressures on erstwhile allies to join us in the ill-fated venture. Pressures that have resulted in kiss-up retreats by the Bushies as the war prospects deteriorated.

Strata of course is among those who lie about Bush officials predicting a long and uncertain war
requiring patience and resiliency, whereas truth-tellers point to the Perle/Cheney Rummy/Wolfowitz weeks to months/ war paying itself off quickly by oil proceeds pre-war quotes.

In fact, Al Qaeda has become stronger and is now risen to the status of a world-wide ideology.
