THE AEI IS DELUSIONAL

Below is a graph from the NYT and the recent AEI report is clearly about an alternative universe Iraq. For example, AEI falsely claims Iraq has met these benchmarks:

- Establish a strong militia disarmament program
- Ensure that Iraqi Security forces provide even-handed enforcement of the law
- Increase the number of Iraqi security forces units that are able to operate independently
- Reduce the level of sectarian violence and eliminate militia control of local security
