The 9/11 attacks literally came out of the blue.
That is NOT true at all. The Bush regime was warned before taking office that Al Qaeda was the #1 threat to America. After taking office, there were many warnings from Richard Clarke, George Tenet and others that something was in the works. In July 2001, there was concern that Al Qaeda may use an aircraft as a missile to attack the world leaders at the G-8 Summit in Genoa, Italy.
