THE STUPID GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP
Back in 2007, Justice Scalia defended the Bush regimes use of torture by citing the then popular TV Show "24" and today Karl Rove defends the NSA's massive data collection by citing TV cop show. These two and many other so-called conservatives have a hard time distinguishing between entertainment and reality.
