THE REAL COUNTER-CULTURE

In case you've been wondering who people like DeLay and Cornyn are trying to please with their rabid attacks on the Judiciary, here's a clue:

“To understand the enormity of this decision, it is important to recognize that Terri was not comatose before the killing began, was not on a respirator, and was not unaware of her circumstances. She smiled faintly, she followed people and objects with her eyes, and according to the registered nurse who had cared for her, she succeeded in saying a few words.” JAMES DOBSON, http://www.focusaction.org/articles/A0000066.cfm

Of course, Terri was neither aware of her surroundings nor responsive to them but facts don't matter when you have Absolute Truth.

“Justice Kennedy should be impeached for taking such a position, along with O'Connor, Ginsberg, Souter, Breyer, and Stevens, who have recently made similar statements.” JAMES DOBSON, http://www.focusaction.org/articles/A0000066.cfm

The position referred to here is Kennedy's citation of world attitudes towards executing minors. It was the 4th point made in his decision. North Korea and Somalia are two other countries who continue to execute minors.
