TUCSON STAR READERS ON THE ANTI-GAY AMENDMENT

The Tucson Daily Star asked it's readers for their opinions about the move to change the state constitution in order to ban gay marriages. Here's the question:

Would you sign the petition for a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriages?

Here's what the Star wrote about the submissions:

Editor's note: We received two responses from people who said they would sign a petition banning same-sex marriage in the state constitution, but they failed to leave a name or phone number for verification. The Star does not print anonymous opinion so their responses are not included.

The Star published 9 letters, all were against the ban.
