In response to the June 22 letters to the editor "Use GOP standards to measure Bush" and "Memo proves wrongdoing":
Roberta Wright and Robert Woodruff raised good points about the Downing Street Memo that included British intelligence-meeting minutes stating the Bush administration was set on "fixing" intelligence around the policy to go to war.
Rep. John Conyers has sent a letter (signed by more than 100 congressional members) to Bush, requesting answers to questions about this memo. Our administration has failed to respond, most members of Congress remain unwilling to go after Bush with the zeal they depleted on Bill Clinton, and our media refuses to keep this news on Page One.
It's up to the people to take action. Join former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark's call for impeachment.
Go to www.impeachbush.org to submit your referendum vote. This is the best way we can support our troops - by removing a commander in chief who places more value on his political gains than on respecting their lives.

In response to the June 17 article "Demos urge inquiry to see if Bush 'deceived' nation":
Well, I see our "liberal" media is at it again, burying the story of House Democrats' having to meet in the basement of the Capitol to have a hearing on the Downing Street Memo and its implications.
The White House says this is old news and has already been hashed over. Well, that's good enough for the "liberal" media, so I guess that's it. Not so.
The Downing Street Memo is something that came to light recently, and if what it insinuates is true - that the intelligence was "fixed to fit the policy" - it may be the smoking gun proving the country and Congress were lied to.
If the Republicans need something to be of a sexual matter to investigate, how about this: Those that believed George W. Bush's reason for going to war got screwed.
