In early May, minutes of a secret meeting were published in the London Times that showed President Bush and Tony Blair had decided on attacking Iraq long before the president went to Congress for authority.
The memo indicates public information about weapons of mass destruction was slanted to support their war plans.
Other information shows that both countries stepped up bombing to provoke Saddam into doing something that would justify an invasion.
This memo was big news in Europe and a major factor in the Labor Party's stunning loss of seats.
American news media have almost entirely ignored the news.
I urge the Star to increase their coverage of this story.
