RADIO TIDBITS

I listened to to a few minutes of Richard Land's* radio show and I was impressed once again by his mendacity. He claimed that Clinton sold China all our nuclear secrets and tossed in better navigational systems to boot. He then went on to defend Rove by asking readers to go to his site and read the Washington Times article about "Nada-gate." Finally, he mentioned Ruth Bader Ginsburg, falsely claiming that she was president of the ACLU, and argued that since Clinton got her approved, the liberals should approve Roberts.

*Dr. Richard Land is president of The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the Southern Baptist Convention's official entity assigned to address social, moral, and ethical concerns, with particular attention to their impact on American families and their faith. He has served in this position since October 1988.
