DHS CHIEF OF STAFF JOHN WOOD

Another one with little qualifications for the job. Here's what he's supposed to do:

...oversees the Department’s policy, planning and operations responsibilities.

And this is his background:

He began his service in the Administration in 2001 as Deputy Associate Attorney General and Counsel to the Associate Attorney General for the Justice Department, helping to oversee the Department’s five civil litigating divisions. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Wood was an Associate in the law firm of Kirkland and Ellis. He clerked at the U.S. Supreme Court for Justice Clarence Thomas from 1997 to 1998 and for Judge J. Michael Luttig on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit from 1996 to 1997. Previously, he served on the staff of Senator John C. Danforth (R-Missouri).
