Sometimes, because we are homeschoolers, we are not eligible to get scholarships from other organizations; so it is really helpful to have the opportunity of receiving monetary help with all of the normal as well as the unexpected expenses of starting college. It is very difficult to plan for all of the details that are inevitably expensive, making the AFHE scholarship not just convenient, but invaluable.”

Second, she is a legislative assistant for the Center for Arizona Policy, the Dobsonists of Arizona.

Third, she took part in the May 26-29 2000 Southwest Region NYI Bible Quizzing, held in San Diego, and came in second place in the Church Division as a member of the Crossroads church in Chandler, AZ.

Fourth, she testified before the Maricopa County Community College board about how good the education is:

Fifteen students provided first-hand testimonials on the positive experiences they have had as a result of the assistance provided by the Learning Center and the hands-on math classes.

Fifth, she was a grading assistant for a course in symbolic logic at ASU.
