AOL BUSHBOTS REACT TO TAPES STORY

AOL put this AP story online in their News section:

Saddam Was Frustrated By Inspections
Iraqi Dictator Sought Ways to Show World He Had No WMDs
By CHARLES J. HANLEY, AP

BAGHDAD, Iraq (March 21) - Exasperated, besieged by global pressure, Saddam Hussein and top aides searched for ways in the 1990s to prove to the world they'd given up banned weapons. "We don't have anything hidden!" the frustrated Iraqi president interjected at one meeting, transcripts show.

The newly released documents are among U.S. government translations of audiotapes or Arabic-language transcripts from top-level Iraqi meetings - dating from about 1996-97 back to the period soon after the 1991 Gulf War, when the U.N. Security Council sent inspectors to disarm Iraq.

Even as the documents make clear Saddam's regime had given up banned weapons, they also attest to its continued secretiveness: A 1997 document from Iraqi intelligence instructed agencies to keep confidential files away from U.N. teams, and to remove "any forbidden equipment."

Repeatedly in the transcripts, Saddam and his lieutenants remind each other that Iraq destroyed its chemical and biological weapons in the early 1990s, and shut down those programs and the nuclear-bomb program, which had never produced a weapon.

The inspectors "destroyed everything and said, `Iraq completed 95 percent of their commitment,"' Saddam said at one meeting. "We cooperated with the resolutions 100 percent and you all know that, and the 5 percent they claim we have not executed could take them 10 years to (verify). "Don't think for a minute that we still have WMD," he told his deputies. "We have nothing."

Naturally, the BushBots freak out. The bold line right after the screen names are the thread titles.

Another Anti America Story By the AP

When Aol starts leading their news page with this piece of crap story. It is time for me to leave AOL. AOL is dedicated to the cause of the left. I will not give them another cent. It is a shame that thousands of people will read this story and hold it to be true.

Why isn't the lying liberal media rep...

How heartbreaking for them that the new reports confirm what President Bush said. Now, because they are so invested in our defeat, they have to cover this up too. This liberal media will go down in history as the most treasonous lot of cowards since nazi germany. History will be their judge, and the Almighty their executioner ! God bless America.
Sincerely,

This is a fine example of the alternate reality BushBots live in:

What a rediculous story. Aol has int...

Other print media have written an entirely different story about the tapes that Saddam recorded in his meetings with his generals and other high level Iraqui officers. Saddam's tapes have provided the information proving that only a few weeks before the invasion Saddam had the WMD shipped by truck convoys to Syria. John Shaw, former deputy and secretary of defense for international technology security told a conference of former weapons inspectors and intelligence experts at an intelligence summit February 17-20, 2006, in Arlington, VA that former Russian intelligence boss Yevgeny Primakov went to Iraq in December 2002 to supervise MD transfers to Syria, according to Investors Business Daily February 22, 2006, Page 12

Investors Business Daily also reports that according to Georges Sada, Saddam's No. 2 Air Force Officer, two Iraqui Airways Boeing Jets were converted to cargo planes and moved WMD to Syria in a total of 56 flights six weeks before the war. The flights were disguised as part of a relief effort after a Syrian dam collapsed in 2002. See also a report in Investors Business Daily February 27, 2006, Page 18 that Saddam had WMD. Saddam's tapes are only beggining to be translated so there is much more to come. Stay tuned! The real truth is coming out. Obviously, AOL and the liberal press will be caught lying or committing fraud by ignoring Saddam's tapes because the truth is not what these politicized media want the public to know.

We also know that Saddam used WMD gas to murder over 80,000 Kurd men, women and children and that troops of the United States expected and were prepared for such gas to be used on them.

Finally, we have a Bot praising wingnut radio.

AOL news is lame

AOL news is so boring. They have no creative reporting or real journalism. All they do is parrot the rest of the liberal media and get in their daily "bash bush" article, and predictably, all the liberal "non-thinks" swallow it without question. Thank God for talk radio. It's one of the few places left in the world where you can get another viewpoint. Usually more accurate.
