BUSH: We do not want the Iranians to have a nuclear weapon, the capacity to make a nuclear weapon, or the knowledge of how to make a nuclear weapon.
No matter how hard he tries, Fredo can't stop the flow of knowledge about nuclear weapons. For one, the basic design of a hydrogen bomb was revealed in 1979. As a test of the threat of proliferation, two otherwise weapons-naive physicists came up with a plan to build a working implosion bomb using plutonium in 1966. The same feat was accompished in less time by a junior at Princeton in 1977.
