THE GOP FUNDIES & IMMIGRATION

I haven't heard or read anything about the Fundies stance on immigration reform but Sidney BLumenthal has this tidbit:

Last month, when the Family Research Council, a prominent religious-right group, tried to summon support for the house bill, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference warned it would break away, and the religious right was stymied.

It's interesting that the FRC would go against Fredo and even more interesting that this issue is dividing the Fundies. More and more, this seems like a LOSE-LOSE issue for the GOP.
