CHENEY:

Vice President Dick Cheney later hailed the arrests Friday afternoon at a fundraiser for an Illinois congressional candidate, calling the group a "very real threat."

REALITY:

The suspects had "aspirations" but "no means" to attack the Sears Tower or other buildings, a senior federal law-enforcement source said.

"There was no threat at all," the senior federal law-enforcement source said, referring to the SearsTower.
