OK, WHO ARE THE REAL LUNATICS?

Rusty Humphries had Marvin J. Rosenthal, a "biblical scholar," on his show to discuss an upcoming Discovery Channel show that claims we may have found the remains of Jesus Christ AND his family. It's a goofy claim but that's not my point here: Rosenthal is a quack. He founded a Holy Land theme park for quick cash from fundie fools and wrote a book about the Rapture and the End Times AND wrote an accompanying "workbook" for the slower ones among us. As far as being a scholar, all I found was that he is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible and attended Dallas Theological Seminary.(SOURCE:LANCASTER NEW ERA (LANCASTER, PA.) Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, a radio show noted for lunatics and quacks, had on two people who DO have some scholarly credentials to discuss the issue: Michael J. Heiser has an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; Darrel Bock has degrees from the University of Texas Graduate School: Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and the University of Aberdeen (PhD);
