We have had the wonderful opportunity to have Laura Ingraham on KVOI for nearly 4 years. We were among the first stations to launch her morning talk show debut. We really have enjoyed Laura and we are pleased that we could be a part of her success. We were very disappointed when we were told by her syndicator that she was leaving our station. Even though we were one of the top radio stations for The Laura Ingraham Show in the nation, I was told that "the deal was too big for them to pass up".
So we move on. We believe that what was meant to harm us will turn out for the good. We are a part of the nationwide launch of the new Dennis Miller Show. Dennis is a well known comedian (Saturday Night Live) and frequent commentator on TV news programs. His wit, candor and insight in to political, social and cultural issues is exceptional. I encourage you to listen to The Dennis Miller Show on KVOI 690 AM from 6 - 9 am Monday through Friday and all of the great talk on your locally owned news talk station KVOI.

If KVOI really was one of WW's top stations, her show is in big trouble. According to Radio & Records, KVOI is ranked 22nd in Tucson. Of the 3 news/talk stations in Tucson, KVOI is the most Jeebus oriented without being explicitly a Christian station, so I suspect Mr. Miller won't be on the air much longer because today he said that he was pro-choice.
I am also puzzled by the "meant to harm us" claim by Mr. Martin. Did KVOI somehow upset WW so much she felt she had to retaliate?
