Prof. Yoo, who is a professor at the UC-Berkely Law School, recently wrote an op-ed in the WSJ defending Pres. Fredo's absolutist interpretation of Executive Privilege. Glenn Greenwald discovers that Yoo made precisely the opposite argument when Clinton was President:
Like the boy crying wolf, Mr. Clinton's regular use of the privilege threatens to dilute its effectiveness for future presidents on matters of true national importance . . . .
Glenn also notes that Yoo also flip-flopped on his opinion of FISA: before we learned that Fredo was ignoring FISA, Yoo was all for FISA; after we learned, Yoo was against FISA.
