RADIO TIDBITS

Slots Bennett really is connected. Today he had another officer on, Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch on and Lynch repeated the bullshit he came out with about a week ago. This time he added that his soldiers knew they were winning in Iraq. He also said his soldiers knew that they were fighting them in Iraq so we wouldn't have to fight them in America. As I said before about others, Lynch is a lying whore and those soldiers are "stuck on stupid."

War Whore Ingraham outdid herself during the few minutes I listened to her ravings about Iraq. She played a clip of Mel Gibson's freedom speech from Braveheart:

Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

The connection between this speech and the Iraq War is left as an exercise for the reader. WWI believes that we need to take the gloves off in Iraq and that the military should kill instead of trying to build schools. THE BITCH ACTUALLY WANTS TO RE-INTRODUCE BODY COUNTS because she thinks that will build support for the Iraq War.

Not all that long ago, Ingraham was complaining that the MSM didn't show enough of the good things going on in Iraq, such as all the schools we've built. This is from a 9/22/2005 interview she had with Rumsfeld:

MS. INGRAHAM: And your commanders in the field now in Iraq, there are reports back to you about the progress being made. Of course Americans are greeted by headlines every day - 1,900 dead, thousands more wounded - roadside bombs. But the commanders who are working with the security forces - I have had a chance to talk to some of them. I hear a very different account of what is happening - very positive stories again, and yet I don't see this stuff reported. And I know - it's frustrating to me. I can't imagine how frustrating to you it must be.

On February 14, 2006, she was on Bill O'Reilly's TV show and continued to complain about the lack of reporting on the "progress" made in Iraq:

O'REILLY: You were in a briefing for American press, L.A. Times, others. That -- those tip statistics were given to the newspaper reporters, but they didn't file them?

INGRAHAM: Well, it wasn't -- it didn't actually get filed. The briefing happened last Wednesday. I was actually doing my radio show. So I sent one of my engineers in to actually be there. And my friend Ed Hendy (ph) was in there, and The Chicago Tribune, The L.A. Times was there. And a number of other newspapers.

Only today in the USA Today did any of these metrics, these very positive signs of progress in Iraq, get reported. The fact that one out of every four operations in Iraq, military operations, is now being carried out by Iraqi forces. That's 25 percent. That's not nothing.

O'REILLY: So what do you attribute the lack of reportage to?

INGRAHAM: I don't know. I really don't. I mean, the impulse would be to say that it's agenda-driven reporting.

[snip]

INGRAHAM:
I'm confident that both the Iraqi people, the overwhelming majority, and the overwhelming majority of our military are committed to this. I think if the American people can be patient and this administration can do a better P.R. job of actually putting out the progress out there, I think we can be successful.

On March 21, 2006, WWI appeared on NBC's Today Show and this preosterous statement:

Ms. INGRAHAM: I don't--I don't--I think what we're doing now in Iraq is maybe finally the right thing. The Iraqi military is taking over more of the battle space. If James had spent more time in Iraq and less time talking about how the administration is a disaster on every level, he'd have a different view, I promise you. James is a smart guy. If he were there, he would see it. The Iraqi military's taking over the battle space. The Iraqi military is stepping up.

GREGORY: Right.

Ms. INGRAHAM: The Iraqi people are starting businesses across the Uni--across the country with all of the threats of repri--prisals and all of the difficulty. That stands for something. That should be celebrated and that should be covered. The IEDs, yeah, cover it. Cover the bombs, cover the difficulty, but give a broad picture of what's happening in that country. It's a disservice to our troops and it's a disservice to everything that this country's about.

On April 13, 2006, WWI was on Hannity & Colmes and took another shot at the MSM's coverage of Iraq:

INGRAHAM:Now, if Iraq is in a civil war, how do a million Shia march with a much smaller number of deaths or injuries than in previous years? That was amazing, and almost nobody covered it. That's the problem of the media coverage in Iraq.
FINALLY, on Bill O'Reilly's 1/13/2007 TV show, War Whore Ingraham admits that Iraq is a mess:

O'REILLY: OK. But I think it's almost too late to rally folks to a cause that many think is lost because of the Iraqis themselves. Here's the rub. If all the Iraqis behave the way the Kurds do, Kurds up north building their own society now, they're free, no bombings. They have malls and condos, and that's the way the Bush administration thought they would all act.

INGRAHAM: Of course it didn't work out that way.

BONUS INTERVIEW:

WWI had Secretary Rice on her radio show on 11/3/2006, right before the elections,

MS. INGRAHAM: Are we winning now in Iraq?

SEC. RICE: Oh, I think there's no doubt that we are making a lot
of progress and that the terrorists are losing because the Iraqi
political system is moving ahead and maturing. This is a situation in
which we can and will succeed. Has it been very, very difficult?
Absolutely. Are we home yet? No, by no means. There is a lot of work
still to do. But the President has made very clear that victory is
necessary and that we will achieve it. And we work every single day
with Iraqis who want to achieve that same victory, and we will.
