Insannity made several stupid remarks last week, proving again that he is better suited to being a DJ instead of a political commenter. The first stupidity was his claim that "this is a battle of civilizations" despite not knowing what a civilization is or exactly who we are fighting against. The Brits know that this sort of talk is counter-productive and only feeds into a narrative that the terrorists have adopted. The second stupidity was "The President is giving a real answer" to the war on terror. This "real answer" has led to an increase in terrorist attacks since we invaded Iraq and an Al Qaeda that is at least as dangerous now as it was on 9/11.
The final stupidity that I'll note here was his vow to provide "the best '08 coverage on your radio dial." Like Fats Limbaugh, he seems to think it's safe again to lie about his agenda.
In addition to the Braveheart speech, War Whore Ingraham also played a segment of Winston Churchill's "finest hour" speech and said we need someone like Churchill to take on the Democrats and the Islamo-Fascists. You have to admire the mixture of hatred and insanity in that remark. One of her caller's said Peggy Noonan was "treacherous" to criticize Pres. Fredo and War Whore to be careful about using that word! Of course, it's OK for her to use it to describe ANYONE who opposes the Iraq War.
Finally, Mark "Foamer" Levin repeated one of the most blatant wingnut lies: Valerie Plame outed herself in the Vanity Fair article. Perhaps Levin is in secret a Time Lord because the article came out months after the Novak column.
