"FAR LEFT"

KIMBERLEY A. STRASSEL, a member of The Wall Street Journal's editorial board, writes that "The far left isn't the path to a governing majority." Here she is using the tactic of labelling everyone to the left of Bill O'Reilly as "far left," something the GOP Noise Machine has been doing for some time.

I wonder why it's OK for the GOP to pander to the far-right (e.g., Schiavo, stem cell research)?
