AN OLD MEME

The wingnuts love to claim that Democrats and/or liberals are "weak on defense" and via Glenn Greenwald, I learn that Pat Buchanan admits that this is an OLD conservative strategy:

Democrats have been psychologically damaged by 60 years of GOP attacks on them as the party of retreat and surrender.

This is another example of the BIG LIE, just like the one about liberal bias in the media, that the conservatives have managed to mainstream.
