"POLITICIZING THE WAR"

That's another favorite attack meme of the wingnuts. Of course, for them the war combines both 9-11 and Iraq or at least that's what they want the sheep to believe. Previously, I had posted how Rep. Dana Rorhabacher (R-CA) accused Pres. Clinton of being responsible for 9-11 ON THE SAME DAY and in that October, Fats Limbaugh published a WSJ op-ed and made the same accusation.

Today I learn from Atrios that a then-wingnut blogger, Andrew Sullivan, also did his part to create polarization just a few days after 9-11:

The middle part of the country - the great red zone that voted for Bush - is clearly ready for war. The decadent Left in its enclaves on the coasts is not dead - and may well mount a fifth column.
