FIRST REACTIONS

Col. David Hunt, a FAUX news contributor, writes that we could've killed Osama back in August. Now, it's not entirely clear that he is correct but the wingnuts who commented on Hunt's column NEVER mentioned the incompetence of the flag officers and the civilians over them. As Hunt put it,

Our government, the current administration and yes, our military leaders
included, failed to kill bin Laden for no other reason than incompetence.

The wingnuts try to blame this failure on too restrictive ROE and too zealous military prosecutors. Bryan at Hot Air asks "Are we overlawyering the war to the point that our troops won’t even kill bin Laden himself without worrying what the legal eagles may accuse them of after the fact?"
