TAX CUTS: DO NOT WANT; HEALTH CARE: I CAN HAZ?

The LA Times and Bloomberg conducted a poll and asked some very interesting questions about the economy and health care. We all know the radio wingnuts such as Hannity have been pushing the Bush tax cuts and how great they were FOR EVERYONE. The poll shows that only a minority of Americans believe that (click to enlarge graphics):

Much more encouraging is the finding that a majority of Americans across all 4 incomes groups used in the poll favored repealing the Bush tax cuts if that would pay for universal health care:

Bloomberg adds this about tax cuts:

``A lot of the air has gone out of the tax-cut movement balloon,'' said Stuart Rothenberg, publisher of the nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report in Washington. ``Republican candidates who think that tax cuts are the way to swing this election may be engaging in some wishful thinking.''
