BABBLING AGAIN

David Brooks, house wingnut for the NY Times, writes that Americans want change and don't want it and buttresses that illogic with non-facts, such as this one. He ends up claiming that "people want the government to change so their own lives can stay the same." For most people, that means a radical change in government, away from the supply-siders, the Fundies and the neo-cons. In short, away from the GOP. USA Today offers a remarkable statistic about the likelihood that the Democrats will take back the WH:
Since World War II, no party has managed to hold the White House when the incumbent president had a job-approval rating below 45% one year before the election. Bush's approval rating now: 32%.
