ALL I CAN SAY IS "GO HUCK!!!"

The Huckster is attracting all the right enemies. First, our incredibly incompetent Secretary of State, the same person who wasn't told about the impending Turkish attacks inside Iraq, decides that she has to defend Pres. Fredo:

Rice: Huckabee Wrong About Bush Policy
Dec 21, 6:42 PM (ET)

CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice stuck a toe in the presidential race Friday, taking strong issue after Republican Mike Huckabee accused the administration of having an "arrogant bunker mentality" on foreign policy.

"The idea that somehow this is a go-it-alone policy is just simply ludicrous," she said, briefly weighing in on politics during a State Department news conference in Washington. "One would only have to be not observing the facts, let me say that, to say that this is now a go-it-alone foreign policy."

That's just the appetizer! The Huckster's peeps have attacked Fats Limbaugh, the Dumb of "Dumb and Dumber." Here's the offensive passage, from Marc Armbinder's blog on the Atlantic Monthly:

What's the Huckabee universe's take on why Rush Limbaugh does not like the man from Arkansas? I asked a prominent DC-based Huckabee ally:

"Honestly, because Rush doesn’t think for himself. That’s not necessarily a slap because he’s not paid to be a thinker—he’s an entertainer. I can’t remember the last time that he has veered from the talking points from the DC/Manhattan chattering class. If they were praising Huckabee, he would be too."

"Also, I have to think that he’s dying to have Hillary in the White House. Bill Clinton made Rush a megastar. Having another Clinton back in power would make him the Leading Voice of the Opposition once again."

The wingers are going nuts about this new outbreak of Donner Party Syndrome in the GOP.
