Pres. Fredo can ignore Habeas Corpus, a doctrine that is not only in our Constitution but has also been part of the Western Tradition for almost 800 years and the Village doesn't say much. Fredo works on a deal, not a treaty, with Iraq to keep our troops there and suddenly that, according to Michael Hirsh of Newsweek, "would be difficult if not impossible for future presidents to unilaterally breach."
