I listened to and read Hewitt and I know he's one of the brighter war whores but that just means he has more elaborate lies and disinformation. Hannity, well, is the idiot's version of Hewitt. Both come down hard against McCain and both will be pushed further to the fringe of American politics.
Hannity tried to coax Huckabee out the race so Ken-doll Romney would get more votes and Hewitt thinks that would be great for "real" conservatives. Neither seems to understand that many of the conservatives who are voting for The Huckster would never go for Romney because they are religious bigots.

Ok, but tell me this: How is McCain any different from Bush, in that these same neocon talk blathering chickenhawk liars effectively put Bush's economic betrayal of conservatism on the back burner while giving him a pass because of his "great" job on Iraq and the "WOT?" What portends
differently should McCain win?

After 2002, McCain began pandering to the supply-siders (voodoo economics) and the Fundies. The best we can hope for is a slighty more competent President carrying out failed policies.
