MORE LIKE THIS, PLEASE!

Paul Krugman sinks another dart into the grossly-inflated Raygun Legacy Balloon. I've noted before that Raygun's record on the economy was dismal (here and here) and Krugman expands on this with 2 interesting charts. The first shows had bad unemployment was during Raygun's tenure:

The second shows that just like Pres. Fredo, Raygun was great for the top 1% but not so much for the rest of us:
These are inflation-adjusted after-tax income for the richest 1 percent and the middle quintile, from the Congressional Budget Office, both expressed as indexes with 1979=100. Big gains for the rich, not so much for the middle class:
