OH GOD, ANOTHER FRIEDMAN UNIT!!!

Atrios has a great collection of various politicians and others claiming that we'll know for sure about Iraq "in another 6 months.' I think this BS started in 2005, so there's a lot of people who have been terribly wrong about Iraq.

Now, despite the miraculous Teh Surge, Gen. Petraeus tells us we'll need another 6 months!!!

We think we won’t know that we’ve reached a turning point until we’re six months past it. We have repeatedly said that there is no lights at the end of the tunnel that we’re seeing. We’re certainly not dancing in the end zone or anything like that.
