A WHISPER AND THE RAYGUN MYTHOLOGY

During the GOP debate in Florida, Tim Russert asked Ken-doll Mittens this:

Russert: Governor Romney, you are a big fan of Ronald Reagan. Will you do for Social Security what Ronald Reagan did in 1983?

[Whispered:] raise taxes

Romney: I’m not going to raise taxes. What I’m going to do…

The whisper apparently came from an open mike in the audience but what's really interesting is that the wingnuts didn't pick up on the key point: ST. RAYGUN RAISED TAXES!

I looked at The Jawa Report, The Corner, Hot Air, LGF and Strata-Sphere and there was no discussion of how this fact deflates the Raygun Myth.
