Josh Marshall reminded me of his remark that American workers wouldn't pick lettuce in Yuma, AZ for $50/hour. I recall going to a day labor business and saw people lined up to do manual labor for $5.35/hour in Tucson, AZ. There wasn't enough work for all of them.
Who does McWAR thinks he's kidding?

Not everyone wants us gone, Steve:
Google this, from LAT:
"Iraq restaurant's fortunes rise and fall with violence."
----->
Sun City Foods opened in Baghdad's Saidiya neighborhood in January 2006, a month before militants blew up the venerated Shiite mosque in Samarra. The months of Sunni-Shiite violence that ensued forced the restaurant to close, but it's open again -- for now.
The doors are open again thanks to a tentative calm. But the owner worries about what will happen if U.S. troops leave the Baghdad neighborhood.

Besides, I never spoke about Iraqi opinion in my post, and the DeYoung piece is nearly six months old. New data's been released that contradicts that story.
May I suggest you write some serious analyses, rather than these slurs on "Granpa McWar..."

Then share that data.
