THE AP SCREWS UP AGAIN

Re: "Tenn. GOP mocks Michelle Obama's 'proud' remark"

Dear Sir(s),

Mr. ERIK SCHELZIG's article is a bit misleading because it doesn't give the entire
remark by Michelle Obama. This is what Mr. Schelig wrote:

Michelle Obama was campaigning in Wisconsin last February for her husband,
Barack Obama, when she said: "For the first time in my adult life, I am
really proud of my country."
This is her complete statement:

For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country. Not just
because Barack is doing well, but I think people are hungry for change."
Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama
