BLAMING THE PRESS (AGAIN)

As Pat Buchanan pointed out, blaming the Press is SOP for the GOP. In this way, they hope to give their propaganda greater validity and lessen the validity of any criticisms in the press. This tactic is swinging into high gear, notably with attacks on NBC.

First, the White House whined about NBC News editing a clip of Fredo trying to mislead us about "appeasement." Bill O'Reilly then attacked GE, NBC's corporate parent. War Whore Ingraham and Karl Rove also attack NBC for being biased:

INGRAHAM: I mean, there is no line between news and commentary. It’s all blurred. And it’s always blurred against the administration, against the favor of the surge, against what progress is made in Iraq.

Finally, the lobbyists are complaining that press coverage is the reason McWAR got rid of them:
“It’s a different time, and we have a different set of rules out there in the way the press covers things,” said Ron Kaufman, a Republican lobbyist who supports McCain.
