ABORTION:

According to ABC News/Washington Post Poll of Jan. 9-12, 2008, 57% of Americans want it legal in all or most cases. This means the GOP platform is out of touch with the American people because only 15% want it illegal in all cases.

GLOBAL WARMING:

According to a Gallup Poll of March 6-9, 2008, 66% of Americans worry about it either a "great deal" or a "fair amount." The Fats Limbaughs account for only 17%.

HEALTH CARE:

Americans prefer one of the Democratic plans, 59% to 33%, according to an NPR/Kaiser poll of February 14-24, 2008.

GAY MARRIAGE:

54% support "giving them the legal rights of married couples in areas such as health insurance, inheritance and pension coverage?", only 43% oppose, according to an ABC News/Facebook poll of Dec. 16-19, 2007.
