THE RETURN OF THE "FIGHTING DEMS"?

Maybe so, as long as Obama keeps pushing back against the wingnut memes. Joe Gandelman of The Moderate Voice and Chris Cilizza of the WaPo note that the Dems are pushing back on national security issues and not trying to shift the discussion to domestic issues. I think this is a great strategy because the more we can do to show that GOP policies are harmful to our national security, the better our chances will be in November.

As Cilizza put it,

Obama, to our mind, took the smarter course by not simply answering the inherent critique offered by the president but also pivoting to try and make McCain answerable for the foreign policy pursued by the United States over the last eight years.
