Right now, I'm listening to Channel which is playing "The Right Hour," hosted by Paul Weyrich and Bill Lind. Weyrich clearly states that the problem with the FISA revamp is the telcom immunity provision. Frank Gaffney, his guest, also believes that the telcoms deserve immunity for any violations in the past and seems to think that it will guarantee that this will prevent them from being held liable should they do the same in the future. There was no mention of the 4th Amendment.
Hm, a caller seemed to imply that Weyrich was in the Reagan Administration but I looked at SourceWatch and Wikipedia and there's no mention of him being in the government under Reagan.
