Remember when Mickey Kaus caught Fats Limbaugh playing an edited audio clip to further the wingnut agenda? ThinkProgress found that a wingnut group, the Business & Media Institute (BMI), did the same thing with an audio clip of Al Gore. They altered the clip so that Gore sounded like he blamed the cyclone that hit Myanmar on global warming when in fact he didn't.
You can be sure that a few wingnuts will accept BMI's version as fact and will pass it on for years to come.
