Now that the economy is tanking, some wingnuts are saying it's nowhere near as bad as it was under Carter. Thanx to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, we can get the number of employed in the private sector under both Carter and Fredo.
The numbers are in 1000s, so under Fredo, we have added 3.7 million jobs in 7.5 years. In only 4 years under Carter, there were almost 9 million jobs created.
