THE KAGANS & KEANE ADMIT FAILURE IN IRAQ

That's not the title of their typically myopic op-ed in the WSJ but this line in the 17th paragraph concedes the argument:

Success in Iraq also makes it possible to establish a strategic partnership with a legitimate, democratic majority-Shia state that is aligned with the U.S. against Iran.

This will not happen. Iraq and Iran will be allies and Iraq will not cooperate with the U.S. against Iran.
