The Washington Post is reporting that McCain revised his new position "just minutes" after laying it out. He said in the speech he'd draw on U.S. troops in Iraq to send three brigades to Afghanistan, the paper says, but then told reporters "he might call on NATO to supply part of the additional troops he hopes to send to the region."
One problem: Back in February, our NATO allies weren't too keen on sending more troops to Afghanistan. Isn't foreign policy supposed to be one of his strong points?

a vote for McCain might well be a vote for the draft.
