MIKE MALLOY HAD AN INTERESTING THOUGHT
Last night, Mike speculated that the reason Fats Limbaugh and other gasbags were on the air in so many markets is because they essentially are getting "protection money" from corporate America. We know Fats has admitted to being a spokesman for corporate America and the gasbags constant shilling for Big Oil is another fact in Mike's favor. Those are both positive factors that help account for their prevalence; there are also negative factors. One is an advertising boycott of shows with a different point of view. Media Matters found a memo that had a list of 60-70 national advertisers who didn't want their adds to run during Air America radio shows.
