THE NEW YORKER IS ALSO OUT OF TOUCH

I suspect that few if any of the people who work at the New Yorker listen to gasbag radio or watch FAUX News, so they probably aren't aware of the wingnut memes that try to portray Barack and Michelle as secret Muslim terrorists, America-haters and Marxists. In itself, the cartoon (see below) on the front cover isn't funny because it's just a reflection of wingnut thinking.

What I find interesting about the New Yorker cover is that it's almost exactly the sort of cover you could expect to find on the front of National Review.
