Today on his radio show, Hannity came out with another half-truth: allowing offshore drilling in areas currently off-limits would provide 18 billion bbls. of oil.
What he didn't say was that over 40 billion bbls. are NOW available for development. Here's the chart from the Energy Information Administration, part of the Dept. of Energy:
