IS PALIN A DEMOCRAT WHEN IT COMES TO BIG OIL?

She seems to agree with the Dems about a windfall profits tax on Big Oil:
Palin has also taken stands on energy that deviate from many Republicans. In 2007, she signed a windfall profits tax for oil production that has sent billions of dollars to Alaskan coffers, but which oil executives complain will stem new production in the state.

Do you remember all the fuss the wingnuts made about drilling more? Well, Palin took that seriously instead of just campaign propaganda:
Earlier this year, she attempted to revoke Exxon's license to the Point Thomson oil-and-gas field, one of the largest undeveloped fields in the U.S., for failing to develop it quickly enough. The company hasn't drilled a well there since 1982.
