OBAMA AT SADDLEBACK

I've only listened to short clips of the forum and I have to agree with the wingnuts on this one - Obama sounded a little fuzzy and McCain was simple and direct. I AGREE with Obama's positions but to my mind, McCain clearly had the better presentation. Kevin Drum thinks that this isn't a big deal but I think he's mistaken because McCain came off as someone who knows exactly where he stands on the issues, even though that isn't true at all. Perception plays a large role in politics and I think McCain won the perception battle.
