A QUESTION OF TIMING
Sean Hannity has been attacking Franklin Raines, former head of Fannie Mae, for being responsible for the sub-prime crisis. The problem with this attack is that Raines left Fannie in 2004, well before the MOTU financial engineers met to decide how to sell junk as triple-A securities. Jim Johnson, Hannity's other target, left Fannie at the end 1998.
