1) About Obama and Ayers
2) About abortion
3) About the military and national defense
4) About guns, religion and bitterness
As far as I can tell, these calls have come AFTER Hannity said pretty much the same thing.
Michael Calderone 0f Politico reported back on August 31st that:
Michael Goldfarb, McCain’s deputy communications director, said the campaign monitors talk radio and has a liaison working with the top shows.
“We obviously try and reach out to any audience that we think can be useful to our supporters,” Goldfarb said, adding that the “interaction is not that much different than with the cable news channels.”
I can't document this right now but I do think I've heard Hannity come out with some other wingnutty claims and either later that day or in the evening, I read a report that the McCain campaign has done the same thing.
Even if McCain didn't get the ideas from Hannity, he has shown himself to be no better than that lying right-wing hack.
